Benefits Enrollment Assistance

MAM offers assistance with State Benefits Enrollment applications and Harris Health Financial Assistance Program.

 

As a Community Partner with Texas Health and Human Services, MAM assist individuals and families with:

  • SNAP

  • CHIP and CHIP/Prenatal

  • Medicaid

  • Medicare QMB

  • TANF (Temporary Assistance For Needy Families)

Who do we help?  
  • People without computer skills,

  • Those who are unfamiliar with the application process,

  • Families with parents who are undocumented who have children who are US citizens and qualify for benefits.

 

Note: This service is NOT zip code restricted.

How to get help:

Visit the MAM office and request an appointment. The receptionist will conduct a screening and provide you with a list of required documents to bring

MAM is now offering access to public benefits at our Heights location!

Thanks to our community partner, Civic Heart, MAM is now screening and scheduling clients at our Heights location for the following Texas Public Benefits:

  • SNAP

  • TANF (Temporary Assistance For Needy Families)

  • Medicaid

  • CHIP and CHIP/Prenatal 

When?  

This service will be available every 1st, 2nd, and 4th Wednesday of each month, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Where?

1015 E. 11th Street, 77009 (Across from Hogg Middle School)
