About the Prayer Breakfast
Clients, volunteers, mentors and MAM friends of all faith backgrounds are invited to attend our prayer breakfasts, led by clergy from MAM’s member congregations.
Prayers, scripture and open discussion will be offered in an accepting inter-denominational setting. There is no cost to attend. Prayer Breakfasts are back to being in-person at the main MAM campus.

About the Speaker
Padre Uriel was born in Páez, Boyacá, Colombia, the youngest of 14 children, where he lived until finishing High School. He did seminary formation with the Roman Catholic Church in Colombia, Mexico and Chicago. Uriel was ordained a priest in 2000 and graduated with a Masters in Divinity and an MA in Christian Spirituality from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He made the transition to the Episcopal Church in 2011 and now is part of the team of Planters of Churches of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. He leads an effort to Minister to First Generation Spanish Speaking Migrants and their families. He is the planter of San Romero Episcopal Church, a Hispanic Ministry Congregation, which currently co-parishes with St. Christopher Episcopal on Blalock, right across the street from MAM. He is married and has two children and a grandson.
