Champions for Families

Annual Fund

We believe that stable families and supportive communities are at the heart of making Houston a great place to work, play and grow!

By becoming a Champion for Families, you show your commitment to a community that values a strong workforce and healthy, financially secure families!

MAM provides a family with assistance to become stable, and then offers a variety of educational programs to set them up for success moving forward – all for approximately $700 per family!

Your gift supports families during moments of crisis. It helps provide the knowledge to understand their finances, and arms them with employment skills for a better future. And your gift provides the hope that they will not have to ask for help again.

“How can you help this year?”

Vocational Training Client

MAM helped me obtain the certification I needed for my dream career. Because of MAM, I now am a certified nursing assistant working as a patient care technician in a hospital. I learned nothing is impossible.

I want to thank them for their caring and support, and helping me through this program. It changed my life.

Because of MAM I was able to move forward in life and go after my goals. They taught me several ways to gain opportunities that I never thought I would have.

I was very blessed to have found MAM when I needed help the most.

MAM has a friendly, phenomenal staff that has definitely been very helpful, and an exceptional workforce training program that has taught me new skills and different techniques to secure employment during these times of the pandemic.

Thanks to the MAM Short Term Empowerment Program (STEP) I will be working with the City of Houston in the Mayor's Office.
