MAM March Prayer Breakfast with Rev. Becky Downs from John Knox Presbyterian Church

About our speaker:

Rev. Becky Ardell Downs is a lifelong Presbyterian who grew up in Metairie, LA and Spring, TX. She graduated from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and received her MDv from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. Her husband Mark is also a pastor, and between them they have served churches in Sioux Falls, SD, Alvin, TX, Missouri City, TX, Chattanooga, TN, Etowah, TN, Sealy, TX, and several in Houston. They have two daughters, one who is a teacher in Dallas and one who is a sophomore at Spring Woods High School.

Becky has served John Knox as their pastor since August of 2011. She came to the church because of their commitment to loving neighbors, especially serving the needs of their immediate community. She loves working with children, coming up with creative worship ideas, and connecting with other congregations. Summer Mission Camp is her favorite week of the year.
