Programs For Children In School

The Back to School program provides school-appropriate clothing and school supplies for low income students identified by Spring Branch, Cy-Fair and Aldine Independent School District counselors

MAM’s I Can See program provides eye exams and eyeglasses to students referred by Spring Branch ISD and Aldine ISD.

Christmas Share is an opportunity to help MAM client families celebrate the holidays with toys for children and other gifts. In 2010, this program provided toys and food for 465 children.

Spring Woods Summer Internship Program is an 8-week summer job program for economically at-risk eighth graders headed off to high school in the fall. The program teaches the interns about the workplace, types of careers and jobs available in the community, and what constitutes good workplace behaviors. The interns earn valuable wages to supplement their family income and provide school clothes for high school.
